The comedian and SNL writer is set to join the CNN comedy panel show this Saturday night.

Steve Higgins, The Roots, and Demi Lovato surprised the Tonight Show host Thursday night with “a 50 cupcake salute.”

The Tonight Show host hatched a plan last night to beat out fellow nominees Seth Meyers, Mario Lopez and Mark Consuelos for the title.

“I’m hoping that I can finally make my Melania debut [this season],” Fineman tells Variety, adding that she’s been “sitting on” her impression of the former first lady for “about five years.” Cecily Strong, who departed SNL in 2022, had been the show’s go-to Melania Trump.
