Jimmy Kimmel’s annual summer vacation is coming to an end.
LateNighter has learned that Jeff Goldblum and RuPaul will be the final two guest hosts for Jimmy Kimmel Live! this summer. Goldlum is slated to host Monday, August 12 through Thursday, August 15; RuPaul will host Monday, August 19 to Thursday, August 22. Both have previously filled in as guest hosts for Kimmel in the past.
Goldblum’s guests will include Mark Wahlberg and Rob Delaney (Monday), John Cena and Omar Sy (Tuesday), Greg Kinnear and Janet McTeer (Wednesday), and Awkwafina and Paul Downs (Thursday). RuPaul’s guests have yet to be announced.
Other Jimmy Kimmel Live! guest hosts this summer have included Deadpool & Wolverine stars Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Lamorne Morris, Martin Short (and Jiminy Glick), Anthony Anderson, Kathryn Hahn, and Kumail Nanjiani.
Both Goldblum and RuPaul have already had quite the packed year. RuPaul’s Drag Race made history last month when Kamala Harris stopped by the show. Meanwhile, Goldblum has been busy preparing for Wicked (out November 22, 2024), in which he stars as the Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Kimmel will resume hosting duties just after Labor Day, on Tuesday, September 3.
