The Guardian reports that protesters calling on CBS to reverse The Late Show‘s cancellation marched ten boxes of signed petitions from Colbert’s Ed Sullivan Theater to Paramount’s Times Square headquarters Wednesday afternoon.

In a guest column for Variety, the Massachusetts senator (and 15-time Colbert guest) writes, “it is a threat to all of us that the top late-night show in the country may have been canceled in order to curry favor with a wannabe king.”
