The two-time Oscar winner will sit down for a one-on-one interview on Maher’s post-election episode. It will mark Douglas’ first appearance on Real Time. (His father, Kirk Douglas, guested in 2012.)
The former president called the HBO host “obnoxious and disgusting” after Maher reiterated on Real Time that he believes Trump is “definitely going to lose.”
HBO’s Real Time host and his guests last night apparently got under the former president’s skin. In an early morning Truth Social post, Trump accused Maher of suffering from “TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME” (emphasis his), writing “he is a befuddled mess, sloppy and tired, and every conversation, with B and C list guests, seems to start with, or revert back to, ME!” [via The Hill]
