Jimmy Kimmel’s 2025 Clip of the Year came with a built-in echo.
Kimmel’s now-annual mini in-show awards ceremony, which highlights the most memorable viral clips aired on the program over the past year, featured six nominees from across television and the internet—including a local news segment covering a particularly suggestive deer-calling contest, a Texas rapper nearly shooting himself during a live podcast, and a group of pallbearers tumbling into an open grave.
This year’s honor went to Australia’s “Unison Twins,” Bridgette and Paula Powers—whose perfectly synchronized speech during a local TV news crime-scene interview sent the internet into a collective tailspin earlier this year and earned them a remote interview with Kimmel in April.
The twins returned to Jimmy Kimmel Live! Tuesday night to accept the award in person, delivering their acceptance speech in unison, naturally.
“We’d like to thank Jimmy and Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” the sisters said, also acknowledging their family and the volunteers who support Twinnies Pelican and Seabird Rescue, the organization they run in their native Queensland. “We are so honored to receive this award.”
For a segment built around the year’s most unforgettable clips, the winners made their case the same way they always do: together.
