Trump Threatens Comcast Over ‘Marble Mouth’ Seth Meyers

The man who some believe goaded Donald Trump into running for president in the first place found himself back in the president-elect’s line of fire Tuesday.

Posting on Truth Social at 1:24am ET Tuesday morning, Trump railed against Seth Meyers, declaring that NBC’s parent company Comcast should “pay a BIG price” for shows like his, which he termed “political hits.”

“How bad is Seth Meyers on NBC, a ‘network’ run by a truly bad group of people,” Trump wrote. “I got stuck watching Marble Mouth Meyers the other night, the first time in months, and every time I watch this moron I feel an obligation to say how dumb and untalented he is, merely a slot filler for the Scum that runs Comcast. These guys should be paying a lot of money for the right to give these ‘in kind’ contributions to the Radical Left Democrat Party. These are not shows or entertainment, they are simply political hits, 100% of the time, to me and the Republican Party. Comcast should pay a BIG price for this!”

It wasn’t immediately clear what specifically led Trump to post about Meyers early Tuesday. Although president-elect wrote that he’d “gotten stuck” watching Meyers “the other night,” the timing of his post (coming as Monday night’s Late Night with Seth Meyers was still on the air) suggested that perhaps it was last night’s episode that irked him so–or at least reminded that he was irked.

It’s not the first time Trump has expressed fury over late-night hosts and their unrelenting jokes at his expense. In several rallies and interviews during the 2024 presidential campaign, he railed against each of the 11:35pm hosts, calling Stephen Colbert “very boring,” Jimmy Fallon “weak and pathetic,” and referring to Jimmy Kimmel as “a loser” and “one of the dumbest human beings ever.”

Meyers himself holds the distinction of being Trump’s longest-tenured late-night antagonist, dating back to the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, when cameras caught Trump watching stone-faced both Meyers and then-President Obama roasted the then-Apprentice host. Some believe it was that it was his humiliation at that event that led Trump to seriously stage his 2016 run for the White House.

To be honest, no one is watching, low rating and not funny and only do political jokes and nothing else daily.
View had move on. I rather watch a indian fixing watch on youtube than watch late night and that shows you how boring those shows are. They basically treat half the country as garbage and then try to brain wash the other half like Russian TV.
