Donald Trump took fresh aim at Seth Meyers Saturday afternoon, again blasting the Late Night host, saying he has “no talent,” calling his ratings a “disaster,” and urging NBC to fire him.
“NBC’s Seth Meyers is suffering from an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS),” Trump wrote in a new Truth Social post. “He was viewed last night in an uncontrollable rage, likely due to the fact that his ‘show’ is a Ratings DISASTER. Aside from everything else, Meyers has no talent, and NBC should fire him, IMMEDIATELY!”
It wasn’t immediately clear what provoked Trump’s outburst.
In his post, he referenced watching Meyers “last night.” Though Late Night with Seth Meyers doesn’t produce new episodes on Fridays, NBC last night aired a repeat of Meyers’s Monday, November 3 episode, which happened to be the installment that aired immediately after the last time Trump lashed out at Meyers, calling him “the least talented person ever to appear live on television.”
As LateNighter’s Bill Carter wrote at the time, Meyers’s response was “a meticulous, hilarious takedown” of Trump’s earlier message, in which Trump complained that Meyers was “100 percent anti-Trump, which is probably illegal.”
Trump’s feud with Meyers stretches back to the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, where both Meyers and then-President Obama roasted the future president. Cameras caught Trump sitting stone-faced during the jokes—a moment that many observers believe helped fuel his eventual run for the presidency.
In the years since, Trump has repeatedly lashed out at Meyers and NBC, declaring earlier this year that parent company Comcast should “pay a BIG price” for airing shows like Late Night, which he’s labeled “political hits.”
“There is a sick rumor going around that Fake News NBC extended the contract of one of the least talented Late Night television hosts out there, Seth Meyers,” Trump wrote this past January. “He has no Ratings, Talent, or Intelligence, and the Personality of an insecure child… So, why would Fake News NBC extend this dope’s contract? I don’t know, but I’ll definitely be finding out!!!”
There was no indication NBC had actually extended Meyers’ deal. With three years left on his current contract, it would have been unusual timing for a renewal. Lorne Michaels, who produces Late Night, said at the time he was optimistic—but not certain—that Meyers and his lead-in, Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon, would see their current contracts through.
“I think [Comcast CEO] Brian Roberts—who I will be working for for the rest of my life, who I have very high admiration for—has integrity,” Michaels said. “But at the same time, everyone has [broadcast] licenses.”
Meyers later responded with a calm rejoinder that gently undercut Trump’s insults without matching his tone.
“It has come to my attention that sometimes people who do not care for me get stuck watching my show,” Meyers said. “And to those people I could just say: You have my sympathy, and I hope you get a TV set that allows you to change the channel.”
NBC and Meyers have not yet addressed Trump’s latest remarks.

Damn dude, what’s with this c*nt’s obsession with Seth Meyer? 🤣
Also, LateNigher, with all due respect, I’m fairly certain at his current mental capacity that he’s too stupid to understand the difference between a new episode of a show and a repeat.
👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏
WTF is wrong with this spoiled rotten. temper tantrum throwing, silver spoon toddler who takes up space in the golden daycare? He desperately needs psychiatric & psychological help!! He’s a narcissist psychopath.
The whole world asks this every day.
Seth Meyers has more talent in his toenails than Trumpstein has in his whole person. He just points out the tons of material they are given each day. Trumpstein Delusional Syndrome is maga sickness that is so bad. A badge of honor for Seth.
At my age I’ve seen a lot of presidents starting with Eisenhower. Many I liked, some I loathed, but all I recognized as President of the United States with the dignity the office requires. Until Trump, who’s embarrassingly oafish behavior and witless meanness sets what I would have thought would be an impossibly low bar for a President. He’s a ridiculous public figure more in keeping with the likes of a Muammar Gaddafi, Idi Amin, or Hugo Chavez. For a President to constantly punch down to entertainers like Rosie O’Donnell or Seth Meyers indicates the smallness and inferiority complex that he richly deserves.
seth is the best late show host on tv… just ask his crew, his guests and his audience. trump needs to be asleep by the time seth is on anyway.
A sad way to try and distract us from the Epstein emails huh? Then again the Orange Toad raves like an insane toddler
SAD.
Seth is a class act
One of the most pressing questions from this recent attempt of removing Meyers: why the hell is the President going after him again on a Saturday, when the show isn’t airing a new episode?
Also…. Does that mean Meyers is gonna address him AGAIN tomorrow? I’m pretty sure he’s sick and tired of the attention and would rather focus on important issues in tangent to the President~
🙏✌️
I love your site and this community of fellow late night tv lovers. I did want to say that I was disappointed and a bit disheartened that you posted this as well as Trump’s similar reactions to other late night hosts. If he didn’t get any air time or volume from these rants, he would be disinterested and move on. Let’s leave the light where it should be, shining on Seth and all the other hosts’ talent and the joy they give us. Let him post to no response. Seems the most respectful way to help them all
