It wasn’t quite the WWE Late Night project we were anticipating, but professional wrestling body-slammed its way into the late-night spotlight Wednesday when guest host Jelly Roll and his guest, WWE legend Randy Orton, were ambushed on Jimmy Kimmel Live—in full storyline chaos.
The mayhem broke out at the tail end of Jelly Roll’s interview with Orton when Drew McIntyre stormed the stage, squaring up against Orton in a brief brawl that sent Kimmel’s longtime sidekick Guillermo Rodriguez running for cover.
But the chaos didn’t stop there. Logan Paul—who’s set to team with McIntyre at WWE’s upcoming SummerSlam—suddenly emerged from offstage, hurling insults at the guest host.
“What are you, dummy?” Paul shouted over audience boos. “Are you a late-night talk show host? A wrestler? A country star? I told you this, Mr. Dummy Roll: stay in your lane, stupid!”
He didn’t stop there. “You, my friend, are a greasy redneck prison rat,” Paul added, before slapping Jelly Roll across the face.
That slap flipped the switch. As Paul tried to hijack the show, Jelly Roll struck back—literally—chokeslamming the YouTuber-turned-wrestler into Kimmel’s desk, which crumbled on impact (as desks in moments like these tend to do).

It wasn’t the first clash between the two. Jelly Roll previously appeared at WWE’s SmackDown in Nashville, where Paul interrupted the musician mid-ring, sparking an earlier showdown.
Now, the feud is official. Jelly Roll and Orton will team up at SummerSlam 2025 to take on McIntyre and Paul.
Jelly Roll is no stranger to the ring. He attended a wrestling academy as a kid, wrestled in middle school, and even joined The Miz and R-Truth at SummerSlam 2024 in a tag match against Austin Theory and Grayson Waller.
Looks like late night just found its newest crossover star—and maybe its most dangerous guest host.
Jelly Roll continues his two-day Kimmel guest hosting stint Thursday night.
