
Jimmy Kimmel is the odd man in on late night this week. Jimmy Kimmel Live! will be the only network talk show turning out new episodes as most of late night takes an extended Memorial Day break.
Kimmel, who was off Monday for the holiday, returns tonight with the first of three episodes this week when he welcomes u2 frontman Bono and Nathan Fielder. Wednesday night promises to be a jam-packed show, wiith Seth Meyers making his second-ever JKL appearance, alongside Senator Cory Booker and musical guests Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms. Kimmel is scheduled to wrap up the week Thursday with guests Ricky Gervais, Kaitlyn Dever, and a musical performance from Kali Uchis
Each of the other nightly shows are all dark this week, with The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers, and After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson all airing repeats this week. The Daily Show is also on break. Comedy Central will air other programming in its timeslot. All five shows are set to return with new episodes next Monday, June 2nd.
Helping to keep the lights on at ABC with new episodes this week is Kimmel’s lead-out Nightline. Also producing new shows this week are Fox News Channel’s Gutfeld!, HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher & Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, and Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney on Netflix. This week’s episode of Everybody’s Live will be the show’s season finale, which is set to feature Mulaney fighting three fourteen year-old boys. (No, we’re not joking.)
