Jimmy Kimmel Live! is headed back to Brooklyn next week for the first time since 2022, and the lineup is stacked.
Ryan Reynolds, Stephen Colbert, Josh Johnson, Kumail Nanjiani, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Emily Blunt, Jeremy Allen White, and Tom Hanks will all join Jimmy Kimmel at the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s 2,100-seat Howard Gilman Opera House the week of September 29–October 3.
The shows will also feature performances by Public Enemy, Reneé Rapp, Geese, and Living Colour.
More guests and performers are expected to be announced in the coming days.
Stephen Colbert’s scheduled appearance—which Kimmel first announced earlier this month—will mark the host’s first sit-down interview outside of The Late Show since CBS canceled his program in July.
One name notably absent so far: Kimmel’s close friend Howard Stern. Stern joked during Kimmel’s suspension last week that the only silver lining was that he might not have to appear on Kimmel’s Brooklyn shows, suggesting that he had been booked.
While JKL normally airs four nights a week, Kimmel will tape fresh episodes Monday through Friday during his Brooklyn run. The visit will mark his seventh trip to New York with the show. And with Kimmel having taken on near–folk hero status since ABC pulled his show off the air last week under pressure from the FCC and two of the network’s largest station groups, it’s likely to be that much more of a spectacle.
