It’ll likely be a while before we see the second season of Conan O’Brien Must Go, but O’Brien himself took to social media this week to offer a few short glimpses from his latest international adventure in real-time.
“I’ve just touched down in Madrid,” the former late-night host captioned his first post, which showed a mustachioed O’Brien sitting in a cockpit dressed as a pilot. “It’s amazing what you can get away with wearing a fake mustache.”
He followed that up with a photo of him standing in an alley wearing a white Running of the Bulls outfit with a red sash and bandana. The caption read, “No matter where I go in the world, I know how to blend in.”

Later he shared a third photo of himself and his longtime producer, Jordan Schlansky, standing side by side in an olive grove. “I’ve always wanted to harvest olives in Spain with a good friend,” he wrote. “Instead, I brought @JordanSchlansky.”
Conan subreddit posters reacted positively to the teaser photos, with one saying, “Conan [is] doing God’s work in these trying times. I can’t wait for the new season.”
Conan O’Brien Must Go was renewed for a six-episode second season in May, less than a month after its first season’s well-received single-day drop. The show’s initial four episodes saw its star visit Norway, Argentina, Thailand and Ireland and are available for streaming on Max.
Spain is the second country that O’Brien is known to have visited for his show’s second season. In September he was spotted in New Zealand, where he participated in a world record-breaking haka alongside Taika Waititi and 6,000+ other Kiwis.
