Taylor Tomlinson is stepping out of the After Midnight studio and hitting the road.
The comedian and host of CBS’ 12:30 a.m. show has announced the first set of dates for her new standup tour. Dubbed the “Save Me Tour,” Tomlinson will tackle topics including faith and sexuality, according to The Wrap.
The first leg of the Save Me Tour will hit 15 cities between October and May, with Tomlinson performing two shows at each stop. It kicks off in Buffalo, New York on October 4. All dates are Friday and Saturday nights. According to Tomlinson, more dates will be added in the future.
If Tomlinson needed any further proof that her career has truly taken off, this tour might be it. On February 14 and 15, she’ll be performing at The Chicago Theatre—a venue that holds a special place for the comedian. “The first time I ever performed at the Chicago Theatre was with Conan,” he said in an Instagram post. “I remember walking around backstage and thinking, ‘If I ever get to headline a show here, then I will have truly made it as a comedian.’”
Tomlinson’s comedy has covered her Christian upbringing in the past. In fact, she began her standup career performing gigs at churches.
She has released three standup specials in just four years, all produced for Netflix. Her most recent, Have It All, debuted on the streamer in February.
Last year, she was named the host of After Midnight, a replacement for CBS’ 12:30 a.m. slot previously devoted to The Late Late Show franchise. The pseudo-game show—a revival of Comedy Central’s @midnight, premiered in January.
Tomlinson has said that part of the After Midnight job’s appeal was the ability its schedule gave her to continue doing standup on weekends. She’s also added a bit of a comedy routine to the show itself, experimenting with a monologue in recent months. Last month, CBS renewed After Midnight for a second season.
Tickets for Tomlinson’s Save Me Tour are on sale now. The full schedule of upcoming shows can be found on Tomlinson’s website.
