SNL’s Tommy Brennan Announces Stand-Up Tour

Tommy Brennan is making the most of his time off from Saturday Night Live.

The freshman SNL featured player announced on Instagram that he’ll hit the road for a slew of stand-up shows starting this month and continuing into the spring. Brennan will visit nine cities through May 2026, performing as many as four shows at each stop.

The comedian will kick things off Tuesday, December 30, in his native Minnesota at Minneapolis’ Sisyphus Brewing. The tour also includes a Thursday, February 19 performance in New York City, billed as “Tommy Brennan and Friends.”

Brennan is also encouraging fans to request additional cities he can visit next year.

Prior to joining SNL for Season 51, Brennan had been working the stand-up circuit for over five years, starting out in Chicago. (Early on, he worked with legendary stand-up Louie Anderson.) In 2023, he was named one of Just For Laughs’ New Faces of Comedy.

Just a few months before SNL came calling, Brennan made his network stand-up debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

After joining SNL, Brennan brought his stand-up to the show in just his third episode, appearing on Weekend Update to discuss his Midwest roots. Brennan gave a nod to that appearance in his tour announcement, referencing Weekend Update co-anchor Colin Jost’s calling him a “good boy.”

“2025 = good boy, 2026 = bad bitch?” Brennan wrote. “That’s not it. Idk.”

While SNL’s grueling pace might lead some cast members to prioritize their downtime, Brennan is the second of this year’s new hires to embark on a tour mid-season. Last week, featured player Kam Patterson announced a 16-city run of his own.
