Good news for viewers missing Chloe Troast this season on Saturday Night Live: You can now catch her on the big screen.
The former SNL cast member makes a fun appearance in Michael Keaton’s new film, Goodrich, in which she plays a woman who sells Keaton’s character a ticket to a live show at a jazz club.
Troast joined SNL as a featured player last year, the show’s sole addition to the cast for Season 49. She quickly garnered recognition for conceiving and starring in the popular sketch “Little Orphan Cassidy” (featuring Timothée Chalamet) just one month into her tenure as a cast member.
To the surprise of many fans, it was announced in September that Troast would not be returning to SNL for Season 50. Deadline was the first to report the news; Troast subsequently confirmed her departure in an Instagram post, writing, “Unfortunately I was not asked back to SNL this season. I wish I was going to be with all the amazing friends I made there, it truly felt like home. But it wasn’t in the cards.”
Of course, Keaton himself just hosted SNL last week, appearing alongside musical guest Billie Eilish. This marked the fourth time that the actor—who’s known for his iconic roles in Beetlejuice, Batman, and numerous other projects—has hosted the show.
Goodrich is playing in theaters now. The film, which is directed and written by Hallie Meyers-Shyer, stars Keaton as an art dealer who seeks the help of his adult pregnant daughter (Mila Kunis) in parenting his nine-year-old twins after his second wife leaves him and checks into rehab.
