Saturday Night Live’s return is just around the corner—along with some new SNL merch. Funko is celebrating the show’s landmark 50th season, which premieres September 28, with a special new Funko Pop! collection.
The SNL 50 Funko Pops hit shelves in December and are available for preorder now. Fans can choose from vinyl figurines of five different classic sketch characters: Bill Murray‘s Nick the Lounge Singer, who made his first appearance in SNL‘s second season; “superstar” Catholic school teen Mary Katherine Gallagher, who was portrayed by Molly Shannon; WXPD News New York reporter Herb Welch, a regular Bill Hader character; Chris Farley‘s van-down-by-the-river-living motivational speaker Matt Foley; and frequent alien abductee Ms. Rafferty, who was portrayed by Kate McKinnon (most recently in Season 49, alongside Ryan Gosling).
Funko has sold other SNL figurines in the past, including Gilda Radner’s Roseanne Roseannadanna, Bobby Moynihan’s Drunk Uncle, Christopher Walken’s Gene “More Cowbell” Frenkle, the Spartan Cheerleaders, as well as Wayne’s World Pops.
While details about the upcoming milestone season are still largely under wraps, NBC is already gearing up for the big celebration. The network announced in May that it will be throwing a “seven-month long party” to commemorate the occasion, including a November election special, new holiday specials, five documentaries, and a concert at Radio City Music Hall. A live, three-hour Primetime Special will also air on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 8 p.m. ET.
Fans can preorder the SNL 50 Funko Pops now on either the official Funko site or Amazon.
