Well that didn’t take long.
A number of SNL-inspired Kamala Harris yard signs and T-shirts have popped up online in the wake of this week’s cameo-packed Saturday Night Live cold open.
Yard signs emblazoned with “End the Traumala: Vote Kamala” and “End the Dramala: Vote Kamala” can now be yours for $22 to $27. T-shirts with the same slogans are also for sale.
Both are references to a line that Maya Rudolph delivered as Harris on Saturday night’s Season 50 premiere when she declared, “Together we can end the dramala and the traumala, and go relax in our pajamalas.”
Rudolph starred in a whopping 12-minute long cold open that had ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir (Andrew Dismukes) jumping back and forth between a Harris rally and a Donald Trump event (with James Austin Johnson returning as the former president, a role he’s played since 2021).
The sketch saw three big-name cameos, with Jim Gaffigan winning the role of Harris’ running mate Tim Walz, Andy Samberg playing Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff, and Dana Carvey as the tenth person to portray Joe Biden on SNL. The role of J.D. Vance went to Saturday Night Live cast member Bowen Yang.
The SNL-themed Kamala merch is available for purchase on Etsy. With Rudolph committed to appear on the legendary sketch show through the election, there well may be more additions to this line before November 5th.
