Now nearly two months out from its series finale, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is offering a piece of rather-attainable memorabilia.
During Wednesday’s episode of CBS’ terminal late-night talker, Colbert announced that this season’s recurring “Late Show Home Shopping” segments—which have promoted a “clearance sale”/charity auction that benefits chef José Andrés’s World Central Kitchen—have to date raised $406,433.53.
Colbert also shared that it was a “Ron from Texas” who had the winning bid to run through the Late Show prop closet and grab as many items as he could in 60 seconds. Ron reportedly came away with a life-size cardboard cutout of Colbert; a stuffed donkey; and a barrel full of (fake) severed limbs.
“And yes, I believe he has been put on a watch list,” the host quipped.
Colbert announced a few new items now up for bidding, including the “Air Lithgow” sneakers the show had made for a fake commercial (and which he had signed by actor John Lithgow himself); throw pillows from the recurring “Covetton House” sketch; and the tuxedo he wore to “perfectly pleasant”-ly host the Emmys in 2017, also autographed.
For those who “don’t want in on the auction but want in on the action,” Colbert revealed a commemorative T-shirt that can simply be purchased at ColbertLateShow.com/EBay.
The front features a variation of the Late Show logo, rejiggered to say “The Last Show with Stephen Colbert.” The back reads: “Thanks for Watching! (Unless you watched on YouTube, the network couldn’t monetize that.)”
Chef José Andrés, a guest on Wednesday’s show, then jogged on-stage to help Colbert fire a few shirts into the audience via T-shirt cannons.
Colbert debuted the charity auction in December, netting over $175,000 in bids across the first 13 items. That round—which saw his COVID-era desk go for $14,800, and two VIP tickets to the Late Show finale sell for $111,100—resulted in a total payout of $169,727.99 to World Central Kitchen.
A second leg of the auction brought in close to $40,000 more.
A third set of items Colbert announced in late January on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers—a stolen rug from Capitol Hill, and several Late Night cue cards—fetched nearly $14,500.
The most recent lot brought in nearly $90,000 worth of bids, with several (including the guest chair, and the aforementioned Late Show prop closet raid) fetching five-figure price tags.

How do I order the late show t-shirt mention on TV last night
Stephen,
How do I order a T-Shirt? I am going to miss watching your show terribly. Thanks for all the great memories by your writers
and you. ❤️
Will really miss Stephen Colbert !
He is a great comedic talent. He is also very intelligent!
I can’t believe that Paramount would risk losing someone like Stephen Colbert ! Especially for Trump!
I know they are going to regret it!!
This has been a VERY interesting development that has yet to be fully solidified given that I cannot see the listing (as of now), because this is not the first time this shirt has been listed on the eBay site….. kinda.
Earlier this month, the Late Show eBay site silently put up the same T-shirt, albeit with a different back text which said “The Night the Laughter Died* (*After the Episode Ended. Hopefully people laughed during the show)”
Now I understand why they initially put down that listing and modified the text, which kinda sucks because I found the darkness of the humor in that initial text amusing and befitting given the circumstances for the show’s ending.
Once the listing’s up, I really hope the Late Show team commits and keeps the new listing til the end of the show, AND that proceeds will contribute to WCK~
Beware of fake tees being sold already on Ebay, Etsy, and I assume other places. If you don’t get it from Colbert’s official Ebay auction site, then it’s a fake.
“The Last Show” with Stephen Colbert Charity t-shirt is now on ColbertLateShow.com/ebay. I already bought mine. Can’t wait to get it! I’ll really miss him and the show so much.
We Will miss you Steven… Late night TV will never be the same..
I want a pressed penny! Colbert had a penny press brought in to commemorate his show, and gave them to his audience.
T-shirts sold online never fit me correctly.
I bought a shirt on 3/23 and the money was taken out of my account the next day. I got an email stating I would be receiving the shirt on the 3rd of April. Then I get an email that my Account was suspended. The only reason I had an account was to track the shirt. I tried to call the toll-free number but always got a busy signal. Then I tried chatting with a robot and the only thing they said was that my account was suspended. I kept sayin wanted to talk to a person was told someone would call back in 2 minutes(still waiting). I then emailed ebay and they only told me the same thing and not be able to get a refund.
