Late-Night Stars to Gather at Night of Too Many Stars 2025

SNL50 won’t be the only time late night all-stars convene this year. A who’s who of comedy is set to appear at the return of Night of Too Many Stars next month.

The semi-annual live comedy benefit is back for 2025, with Ronny Chieng, James Austin Johnson, Please Don’t Destroy, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Sarah Sherman, and Max Weinberg among the first batch of late night stars past and present confirmed to appear. Jon Stewart will return as host.

Other confirmed performers the for the March 31st live event include Alex Edelman, Susie Essman, Jeff Garlin, Sam Morril, and “too many more to come.”

Night of Too Many Stars benefits NEXT for Autism, a non-profit organization that creates and supports programs for people with autism.

Founded by writer Robert Smigel in 2003 following his son’s autism diagnosis, the event has historically featured an assortment of standup routines, musical performances, and live auctions for absurd celebrity experiences.

While Night of Too Many Stars has typically been held every few years, it’s been eight years since the last event. A show had been planned for April of 2020, but was cancelled due to the COVID pandemic. (In 2021, Smigel produced a different livestream event hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and YouTuber Mark Rober to benefit NEXT for Autism.)

In past years, the program has been aired—often live—on networks like HBO and Comedy Central. A broadcast partner for this year’s event has not yet been announced.

Night of Too Many Stars 2025 will be held on Monday, March 31st, at the Beacon Theatre in New York City. General tickets for the event are on sale now via Ticketmaster. VIP tickets and sponsorships are also available.
