The Late Show rebroadcast its May 20, 2024 episode this past Friday at 11:35 p.m., and the telecast averaged 1,373,000 total viewers with 165,000 P18-49, per Nielsen live-plus-same-day data. The Late Show shed -18% in total viewers and -16% drop in P18-49 viewers from the night before (a new episode), a +10% gain in total viewers but a -10% drop in P18-49 versus the Friday before (a rebroadcast).
ABC rebroadcast Jimmy Kimmel Live!’s May 29, 2024 episode this past Friday, and the telecast averaged 1, 236,000 total viewers and 191,000 P18-49. That’s -47% and -66%, respectively, from the night before (an NBA Finals-boosted Kimmel), -38% and -25%, respectively, from the previous Friday episode (a new one).
NBC rebroadcast The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon‘s May 2, 2024 episode this past Friday, and the telecast averaged 1,150,000 total viewers with 161,000 P18-49 at 11:35 p.m. That’s -6% in total viewers and -23% in P18-49 from the day before (a new episode), -0.2% and -13%, respectively, from the previous Friday telecast (also a rebroadcast).
Following The Tonight Show, NBC aired a rebroadcast of Late Night with Seth Meyers‘ May 13, 2024 episode, and the telecast averaged 650,000 total viewers with 104,000 P18-49 viewers at 12:36 a.m. That’s -4% in total viewers, but +17% in P18-49 viewers from the day before (a new episode), -5% and -27% respectively, from the previous Friday (a rebroadcast).
Following Colbert’s Late Show, CBS aired a rebroadcast of After Midnight‘s April 10 episode, and the telecast averaged 598,000 total viewers with 92,000 P18-49 viewers at 12:37 a.m. That’s +5% in total viewers, but -3% in P18-49 viewers versus the previous day’s new episode, +13% and -23%, respectively, from the previous Friday’s telecast (a rebroadcast).
Following Kimmel, ABC aired a new episode of Nightline, which averaged 758,000 total viewers with 118,000 P18-49 viewers. That’s -37% in total viewers and -59% in P18-49 relative to the previous night’s NBA Finals-lifted episode, -20% and -15%, respectively, from the previous Friday’s new episode.
