Note: Nielsen ratings for new, first-run episodes are included below. Data for repeat telecasts is excluded from this report.
CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert took first place in all key audience measurements for the month of July 2024, according to Nielsen live-plus-seven-day data.
After temporarily ceding late-night’s Adults 18-49 ratings crown to ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, The Late Show took back the key measurement in July, averaging 255,000 viewers from the demo over 12 first-run episodes. In addition, The Late Show also continued to average the most total viewers on all of late-night, with 2,402,000 over those same 12 first-run episodes, according to Nielsen live-plus-seven-day data. In July, The Late Show shed -3% in total viewers and -2% in P18-49 viewers from its June 2024 Nielsen ratings averages.
