Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers Are Dark Next Week

Just as their CBS counterparts are set to be back with new shows, NBC’s two late-night talkers are taking a break next week.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers will both be airing repeats Monday, October 14 through Friday, October 18, but just because they’re not producing new episodes doesn’t mean the two hosts will be lounging on the beach.

Both Fallon and Meyers will be out and about promoting upcoming projects, with Fallon beginning a promotional push for his new holiday album and Meyers plugging his first HBO special. (Fallon’s album drops Nov 1st, and Meyers’ special premieres Oct 26th.)

But with the days ticking down ahead of the Presidential election, late night will still be plenty hopping next week.

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and After Midnight will both be back after taking their own one week-break (in Colbert’s case it was interrupted when he was called back for a special Tuesday night episode with Kamala Harris). And ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Comedy Central’s The Daily Show will also be producing new episodes.

The Tonight Show and Late Night will return with new episodes on October 21—the same week ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! is set to take its own break. (The Daily Show plans to keep churning out new episodes through the first week of November.)
