He may have triumphed in his Tonight Show return last night, but Conan O’Brien faces an even more daunting hot seat later this week.
Hot Ones has announced its season finale episode will feature an interview with O’Brien. The episode drops on YouTube this Thursday, April 11th, at 11AM ET.
Now in its 23rd season, the popular YouTube series from First We Feast has produced over 325 episodes since its debut in 2015 (and even produced a spinoff game show on truTV in 2020). First We Feast’s YouTube playlist of past Hot Ones episodes has pulled in over 60 million views to date.
Each episode of the series sees host Sean Evans interview a celebrity guest while they attempt to eat chicken wings basted in increasingly intense hot sauces.
O’Brien isn’t the first late-night host to tackle the spicy wing challenge. John Oliver appeared on Hot Ones earlier this season, and Jimmy Kimmel, James Corden, Stephen Colbert, and Andy Cohen have allpreviously been guests.
O’Brien is currently making the rounds promoting his new Max series, Conan O’Brien Must Go, ahead of its April 18 premiere. He’ll also appear in a livestreamed event at The Paley Center this Thursday — the same day his Hot Ones episode premieres.
