Paley Center to Livestream its Conan O’Brien Event This Thursday

Conan fans rejoice: The former late-night host’s sold out event at The Paley Center in New York this Thursday will be streamed online.

First announced a few weeks back, “Globetrotting and Podcasting: Conan O’Brien’s Life After Late-Night TV” is set to feature a screening of an episode from O’Brien’s long-awaited Max series, followed by a conversation with the host led by CNN’s Jake Tapper

The Paley Center says fans can watch a livestream of the conversation on its Facebook and YouTube pages this Thursday April 11th, starting at 7:20 p.m. ET.

Each episode of his new series, titled Conan O’Brien Must Go, will see O’Brien travel to a different foreign country visiting fans he’s met through his podcast. The show’s four-episode first season, dropping April 18th on Max, takes him to Norway, Thailand, Argentina, and Ireland.

O’Brien ended his 28-year career in late-night in June 2021. He’s since been mostly focused on podcasting. In 2022, Sirius XM bought his podcast network for $150 million and signed O’Brien himself to a five-year contract. His flagship podcast Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend is said to command upwards of 9 million downloads a month.
