Seth Meyers will be the odd man out in late-night this week.
Late Night with Seth Meyers will be the only show off this week, the second of a planned two-week hiatus. Meyers is set to return with new episodes next Monday, March 31.
Keeping the lights on at NBC this week, Meyers’ lead-in The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon is producing new episodes, with Fallon set to welcome Nikki Glaser, Ed Sheeran, and Paul Rudd, among others.
Over on CBS, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert is back after a weeklong break for a fresh week of shows featuring stars like Jake Gyllenhaal, Jenna Ortega, and Seth Rogen—plus a timely interview with Senator Chuck Schumer.
Taylor Tomlinson will also be delivering new hours to CBS—at least for most of the week. In addition to its usual Friday off, After Midnight will air a rerun on Thursday, March 27. Tomlinson’s guests this week are set to include Anna Camp, Uzo Aduba, Jerry O’Connell, and a couple of castmates from Severance.
With ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! also taping new shows, the 11:35 time slot is in good old-fashioned full competition mode this week. Among those set to join Kimmel are Pedro Pascal, Elisabeth Moss, Carey Mulligan, and Chelsea Handler.
The new content continues through the weekend as well. Saturday Night Live returns with host Mikey Madison and musical guest Morgan Wallen on March 29. Last Week Tonight with John Oliver is back the next night, after Oliver’s first week off of the new season.

I know that Seth has young kids but so do all of the late night hosts save Colbert but why does that mean he gets more vacations than anyone else in late night?
Just because Lorne takes tons of vacay doesn’t mean that’s for Seth too. Seth ain’t no Lorne, yet…
omg I need the show. can we please consider guest host. I swear to God since Thanksgiving we only get 2 weeks a month and the show doesn’t seem to do a full closer look for each of the 5 days seams more like 3 full shows a week. I’m so bummed about the schedule this year. GUEST HOSTS!!!!!
Hard agree
Seriously ridiculous. He works maybe 2 weeks/month. I wait to see his “Closer Look” segments and am constantly disappointed on Mondays to see it’s another week of repeats. Not sure if it’s an NBC cost-cutting measure or the host’s desire to work less , but it’s making me sour on this show.
