After Midnight Cancels Wednesday, Thursday Episodes

L A.’s wildfires will continue to keep After Midnight with Taylor Tomlinson off the air through the rest of the week.

After previously nixing its Monday and Tuesday tapings, the show has now cancelled its two planned Wednesday tapings. Though the show’s Hollywood studio remains out of the fire zone, residents of Los Angeles are being urged to stay off roads in order to leave them open for first responders, and due to low visibility as a result of smoke.

While After Midnight usually airs new episodes Monday through Thursday, Tomlinson typically tapes both her Wednesday and Thursday shows on Wednesday. The cancellation means the show won’t see a new episode until Monday, January 20th, at the earliest.

The CBS late-night game show was forced to scrap its Wednesday tapings last week as a result of the fires, making last Tuesday, January 7th, the show’s most recent new episode.

Late night’s other LA-based show, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, returned Monday night and remained on the air Tuesday.

Concurrent with his return, Kimmel opened a donation center in the parking lot of his Hollywood studio to support the wildfire relief effort.

Wednesday’s After Midnight will now be a re-airing of the show’s November 21st episode with panelists Anna Seregina, Greta Titelman, and Will Miles. Thursday’s repeat from December 2nd features Kurt Braunohler, Opey Olagbaju, and Mamrie Hart. On Friday night, which is always a rerun, the show will rebroadcast its December 4th episode with Rachel Scanlon, Taylor Ortega, Jared Goldstein.
