NBC and Maybelline shared a new behind-the-scenes look at commercial shoots with SNL alums Strong and Vanessa Bayer. Bayer’s spots for this season’s “official makeup sponsor” first aired last fall, while Strong’s premiere next week.

“I’m hoping that I can finally make my Melania debut [this season],” Fineman tells Variety, adding that she’s been “sitting on” her impression of the former first lady for “about five years.” Cecily Strong, who departed SNL in 2022, had been the show’s go-to Melania Trump.
