Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Are Big Winners at 2026 Webby Awards

Jimmy Kimmel and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon are late-night TV’s big winners at this year’s Webby Awards, which celebrate achievements across podcasts, AI, websites, creators, video/film, social media, games, and apps/software.

Kimmel and his assorted programs amassed six total wins, as did The Tonight Show.

Saturday Night Live, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Daily Show also were among the winners announced Tuesday morning.

Kimmel earned the Webby Award for Best Creator, Personality or Host, Performance & Craft (Video & Film), while ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! won a Webby for its social media team (in the Television & Film, General category). Additionally, JKL’s YouTube Channel won a People’s Voice Award.

The investigative YouTube series The Rabbit Hole with Jimmy Kimmel  won both a Webby Award and a People’s Voice Award for Scripted, Series & Channels (Video & Film), plus a Webby in the How-To, Explainer & DIY, General Video & Film (Video & Film) category.

Members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences select the Webby Award winners, while People’s Voice Awards are—you guessed it—voted on by the public.

NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, for its “Somebody I Used to Know” Donald Trump/Elon Musk Remix, won a People’s Voice Award for Viral, Video Remixes & Mashups, General Video & Film (Video & Film). The Tonight Show‘s social and digital originals teams each won Webby and People’s Voice Awards, while the program’s TikTok channel won a People’s Voice Award.

CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert won a People’s Voice Award for Television & Film, Social Video Short Form (Social), and Comedy Central’s The Daily Show won a social media Webby in the Comedy, General division.

Saturday Night Live‘s digital originals team won a People’s Voice Award for Best Use Of Vertical Video, Social Features (Social). SNL also won the People’s Voice Award for Best Overall Social Presence-Media/Entertainment, Social Features, and SNL50: The Anniversary Special won a Webby Award and a People’s Voice Award for Events & Live, Limited-Series & Specials (Video & Film).

The 30th annual Webby Awards, hosted by The Daily Show‘s Josh Johnson, will be presented Monday, May 11, at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, and streamed on the Webby Awards YouTube channel.
