As ABC stands by Jimmy Kimmel, Donald Trump returned to Truth Social Thursday to again call for his firing.
Three days after declaring that Jimmy Kimmel be “immediately fired” over his faux White House Correspondents’ Dinner roast targeting the Trump family, Donald Trump posted a fresh broadside aimed at the late-night host.
“When is ABC Fake News Network firing seriously unfunny Jimmy Kimmel, who incompetently presides over one of the Lowest Rated shows on Television?” Trump wrote Thursday. “People are angry. It better be soon!!!”
The renewed push comes amid a broader standoff involving Kimmel, ABC, and federal regulators.
As we’ve previously reported, the Federal Communications Commission this week ordered The Walt Disney Company to seek early renewal of the broadcast licenses for all eight of ABC’s owned-and-operated stations—an unusual step that accelerates review years ahead of schedule.
In its order, the FCC cited an ongoing investigation into Disney and ABC over potential violations of federal communications law, including the agency’s rules prohibiting unlawful discrimination.
Disney has pushed back on the move, saying its stations have “a long record of operating in full compliance with FCC rules” and that it is prepared to defend its licenses.
Trump-appointed FCC chair Brendan Carr has maintained that the review is unrelated to Kimmel or the ongoing dispute, despite the timing.
Neither ABC nor Kimmel have yet publicly responded to Trump’s latest remarks.
I’ll say it again, lowest ratings compared to WHAT?!
All the crap that’s going on in the country, and that pathetic fat fuck sees firing Kimmel as a major priority!
Trumpy got his fee fees hurt so he’s sending his foot soldier Brenden Carr to try to muzzle Jimmy for good. Not gonna happen Donny boy. You pathetic goon.
The current marketplace does not find death or anything related to it as applied to politics, funny.
Explain yourself!
exactly, wiping out civilizations is just a no go for most people nowadays
do you think Trump’s cratering approval numbers are because of his belief in mass destruction?…or is it just the declining economy and affordability crisis?
All of the above!
