Andy Richter is on the line—and he’s dying to hear all about the worst job you ever had.
The Andy Richter Call-In Show, a new radio program that will see Conan O’Brien’s former sidekick chatting with listeners about everything from first crushes to paranormal experiences, made its official debut on Conan O’Brien Radio on Wednesday, June 26.
Richter first revealed the new project back in early April, while seeking callers for the debut episode, where he was joined by actor/comedian Andy Daly. At the time, Richter was looking to hear from people who “embarked on a new adventure, only to have it turn out to be a terrible mistake.”
The weekly show is available exclusively on SiriusXM’s Conan O’Brien Radio channel. New episodes will arrive each Wednesday.
“I’m doing this show because I knew it would be a lot of fun, and that’s exactly what I’m planning on providing for the listeners,” Richter said in a statement.
Richter already hosts a podcast for SiriusXM, The Three Questions with Andy Richter. That show features Richter in conversation with a different celebrity guest each episode, during which he asks the same three questions: Where do you come from? Where are you going? and What have you learned? He launched the podcast in 2019 and continues to release new episodes each week.
Conan O’Brien Radio formed when SiriusXM acquired Conan O’Brien’s Team Coco podcast network in 2022 for $150 million, and signed O’Brien to a five-year contract. The channel plays past episodes of Team Coco podcasts, including the flagship Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend and Richter’s Three Questions, as well as highlights from O’Brien’s late-night shows. Other channel-exclusive content includes The Conan & Jordan Show, hosted by O’Brien and recurring Conan personality Jordan Schlansky.
