Andy Richter to Host Call-In Show on Conan O’Brien Radio

Conan O’Brien’s longtime association with Andy Richter continues, with O’Brien’s former sidekick set to host a new call-in show on SiriusXM’s Conan O’Brien Radio channel.

Richter recently announced on social media that the show is currently seeking potential call-in guests.

To start, the show is currently looking for people who have “embarked on a new adventure, only to have it turn out to be a terrible mistake.” Those interested in participating can tell their story via voicemail or a Google Form, and some will be selected for a call back when the show is recorded. According to a Reddit post from the new show, the first episode will feature special guest Andy Daly.

Richter already hosts his own podcast, “The Three Questions with Andy Richter,” on Conan O’Brien’s Team Coco network. That show features Richter in conversation with a different celebrity guest each episode, basing each interview on the same three questions: “Where do you come from?,” “Where are you going?”, and “What have you learned?” He launched the show in 2019 and releases episodes weekly.

In 2022, SiriusXM purchased Team Coco’s podcast network for $150 million, signing O’Brien to a five-year contract. As part of the deal, the satellite radio company started a Team Coco comedy channel — recently renamed to Conan O’Brien Radio. The channel plays past episodes of Team Coco podcasts, including the flagship “Conan O’Brien Needs A Friend,” as well as highlights from O’Brien’’s late night show and channel-exclusive content.
