SNL Sends Up The Pitt With RFK Jr.’s ‘MAHAspital’

NBC’s Saturday Night Live this weekend channeled TV’s smash hit drama The Pitt while poking fun at Robert F. Kennedy Jr.‘s MAHA campaign.

The Pitt has been ripe for parody, given the kudos that Season 1 received and the current buzz surrounding Season 2 (which is currently two-thirds over). In fact, ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! recently tapped into its popularity by casting series lead Noah Wyle himself as “not a real doctor” who unleashed a torrent of medical nonsense rooted in or inspired by RFK Jr.’s highly scrutinized beliefs. That skit ended with Wyle’s character being put in charge of the CDC.

SNL‘s approach came in the form of a promo for MAHAspital, a medical drama “for people who love The Pitt, but can’t stand its phony liberal science.” Produced by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and “the team who want to Make American Healthy Again,” the series is “coming soon to The Daily Wire.”

Host Harry Styles was joined by Ben Marshall, Jeremy Culhane, Veronika Slowikowska, and Ashley Padilla, playing doctors and nurses. Faced with a frantic flurry of ER cases, they confidently prescribed alternative treatments including steak… bull semen… raw milk… and even a “cold plunge in blue jeans.”

Other moments included a “certified energy healer” boasting she has “more than 3,000 Instagram followers”; Marshall’s character sharing how the COVID vaccine “killed” his parents (because they had received it, si he shot them); and the plug being pulled on an ailing patient simply because they’re vegan.

“If your favorite character from The Pitt was the guy who punched the nurse in the face, you’ll love MAHAspital,” the voiceover told us, after which we saw special guest star RFK Jr. (James Austin Johnson) hurry a gurney into the ER. Under the sheet was… a bear.

“He’s been dead for days, but the meat’s still good!” he explained.
