Report: Biden to Appear on Seth Meyers’ 10th Anniversary Episode

It’s looking like Amy Poehler isn’t the only one of Seth Meyers’ first-night guests set to return for his tenth anniversary episode.

The New York Post reported late Friday that President Biden is expected to fly to New York Monday to tape a rare sit-down interview with Meyers. The paper cites an unnamed source familiar with the president’s schedule.

If true, it’s a big get for Meyers. The president, whose age has become a central issue of the 2024 campaign, has avoided televised one-on-one interviews of late, even bowing out of the traditional pre-Super Bowl interview earlier this month.

It wouldn’t be Biden’s first sit down with Meyers.

He last guested in 2016 in a joint appearance with his wife, Dr Jill Biden, and he made his Late Night debut on Meyers’ very first episode on February 24, 2014, alongside Amy Poehler (who’s confirmed to appear Monday night). Will the debut episode’s musical guest, A Great Big World (“Say Something”), also return? We’ll have to tune in Monday night to find out.
