Netflix Sets March Premiere for John Mulaney’s Everybody’s In L.A. Follow-Up

John Mulaney’s follow-up to Everybody’s in LA is coming into view.

The comedian’s new weekly Netflix talk show, Everybody’s Live, is set to premiere March 12. And, yes, Richard Kind will return. The live variety show will air Wednesdays at 10 PM ET.

The announcement comes as Mulaney appeared at the Next on Netflix event this morning, in which the streamer teased its 2025 slate.

Everybody’s Live’s first season will consist of 12 episodes, but as Deadline reports, Netflix appears to have already given the show a two-season order. A timeframe for Everybody’s Live’s second season has not been announced.

In addition to Richard Kind returning as sidekick/announcer, Mulaney’s show will continue feature a panel of guests taking the couch for a joint conversation.

“We will be live globally with no delay. We will never be relevant. We will never be your source of news. We will always be reckless. Netflix will always provide us with data that we will ignore.” Mulaney teased.

“It’s the one place where you can see Arnold Schwarzenegger sitting next to Nikki Glaser sitting next to a family therapist with music by Mannequin Pussy,” he added. “That’s just an idea, we don’t know if we can lock in Mannequin Pussy.”

News of the new show first came in October, following a successful six-episode run of John Mulaney Presents: Everybody’s in LA—a limited-run live talk show produced to coincide with last year’s Netflix is a Joke Festival.

“Netflix and I discussed this summer not being done with the show and I was thrilled to do that,” Mulaney revealed at the event. “It was one of those shows that neither Netflix nor I really needed to do. I never wanted to host a talk show, and they were getting out of the talk show game so it was the perfect moment.”

In classic Mulaney fashion, the comic made sure to take a few shots at Netflix while hyping up the new show.

“Out of all the DVD mail order business that pivoted, I think Netflix is in the top one or two,” he said. “Redbox actually offered me more money to do a show but I told them to stick it.”

“Not since Harry and Megan has Netflix given more money to someone without a specific plan,” Mulaney added.

Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney will be produced by Mulaney’s Multiple Camera Productions shingle, with Everybody’s in LA co-showrunner Ashley Edens serving as executive producer, according to Deadline. It premieres live on Netflix Wednesday, March 12 at 10 PM ET / 7 PM PT.
