David Letterman, Marcello Hernández Among Stars Bound for Netflix Is a Joke Festival

The lineup for this year’s Netflix Is a Joke Fest will shine oh-so-bright with stars of late-night.

The latest edition of Netflix’s annual comedy festival, to be held May 4-10 in Los Angeles, will serve up more than 350 live events, including “This Better Be Funny With David Letterman,” in which Dave interviews Martin Short and John Mulaney over two nights.

Night of Too Many Stars“—another established and recurring comedy event, co-founded by Robert Smigel and benefitting NEXT for Autism—is converging with Netflix Is a Joke for the first time. Jon Stewart will host the evening of stand-up, variety and music, featuring Jimmy Kimmel, Conan O’Brien, John Mulaney, Bill Burr, Steve Carell, Ron Funches, Nikki Glaser, Tiffany Haddish, Leanne Morgan, Bob Odenkirk, Matt Rife, Adam Sandler, Sarah Silverman, Ali Wong, and Noah Wyle, among others.

Saturday Night Live‘s Marcello Hernández and Latin music sensation Feid will team up for the “largest Spanish-language comedy show at the Hollywood Bowl of all time.”

There will be live tapings of The Pete Davidson Show, the SNL alum’s soon-to-premiere Netflix-exclusive video podcast, and the Fly on the Wall with Dana Carvey and David Spade podcast.

John Mulaney: Mister Whatever” will mark the comedian and Netflix talk show host’s third Netflix Is a Joke appearance and third Hollywood Bowl show.

This is the fourth time that Netflix has staged this comedy festival. Numerous events at previous editions were eventually released on the streaming service, so it’s safe to assume that at least some of this year’s events will be taped and streamed later.

The in-person Netflix Is a Joke Fest runs May 4-10; further details and ticket information can be found on the event’s website.
