Seth Meyers is taking an extended Memorial Day break, with Late Night with Seth Meyers airing reruns both this week and next.
Not to worry, though. Late night viewers will still have plenty to chew on this week, with Meyers’ NBC lead-in, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Fallon’s 11:35pm counterparts The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Jimmy Kimmel Live! all producing new episodes. After Midnight and Comedy Central’s The Daily Show are also up this week.
After opening 2025 with a six-week run of new episodes, Late Night with Seth Meyers has largely been keeping to a schedule of two weeks on, two weeks off since February. (The show’s most recent stretch of new episodes ran three weeks.)
But just because he’s not producing new episodes doesn’t mean Meyers will be lounging on the beach. A recent break saw him record a new installment of Day Drinking with Paul Rudd, and he’s set to open the ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas next week.
A year go, Meyers signed a new contract extension with NBC that will keep him behind the Late Night desk through at least 2028. His production company, Sethmaker Shoemeyers, also extended its contract. On top of his late-night duties, Meyers also hosts a podcast with his brother Josh (Family Trips with the Meyers Brothers) and another podcast with The Lonely Island, The Lonely Island & Seth Meyers Podcast.
New episodes of Late Night resume on Monday, June 2.

Seth Meyers takes more time off than a plastic surgeon who loves golf.
Bernie the Bum Sanders’ taint ain’t lickin’ itself, just sayin!
WHY DON’T YOU JUST GET A FRIGGING GUEST HOST?! THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!
I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a result of further budget cuts from NBC. Going with guest host would still keep the costs up with all the crew and audience coordination.
Also, Studio 8G is used for a lot of other productions, including the Kid’s Nightly News and the farewell party for Hoda Kotb.
the worst part is that corrections is also on hiatus
