CBS’ The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earned first place in the late-night Nielsen ratings race on Monday, June 10, averaging the most total viewers and P18-49 viewers by a sizable margin.
Per Nielsen live-plus-same-day data, The Late Show averaged 2,085,000 total viewers with 244,000 P18-49 viewers on Monday. That’s +6% in total viewers and +36% in P18-49 from the previous Monday episode (June 3). Colbert’s June 10 guest was New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker. Billie Eilish performed.
NBC’s The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon came in second place at 11:35 p.m. on Monday, having averaged 1,175,000 total viewers with 199,000 P18-49, per Nielsen live-plus-same-day data. That’s +10% in total viewers and +37% in P18-49 viewers from the Monday before. Steve Carell, Amandla Stenberg, Noah Lyles were Fallon’s guests on Monday, June 10. Carly Pearce performed.
ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! was dark on Monday, and the network aired a rebroadcast of the show’s May 22, 2024 episode at 11:35 p.m. The telecast averaged 979,000 total viewers and 175,000 P18-49. That’s -39% and -25%, respectively, from the Monday prior (a new episode).
Moving ahead, the Monday, June 10 edition of NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers averaged 806,000 total viewers with 127,000 P18-49 viewers, per Nielsen live-plus-same-day data. That’s up +11% in total viewers and +19% in P18-49 viewers from prior Monday. Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Theo James were Meyers’ Monday, June 10 guests. Tico Torres sat in with the 8G Band.
Following Colbert, CBS’ After Midnight averaged 620,000 total viewers with 131,000 P18-49 viewers in the 12:35 a.m. hour, per Nielsen live-plus-same-day data. That’s +1% in total viewers and +32% in P18-49 from the previous Monday. Scott Aukerman, Carl Tart, and Mary Elizabeth Ellis appeared on the Taylor Tomlinson-fronted program.
Following the 11:35 p.m. Kimmel rebroadcast, ABC’s Nightline averaged 628,000 total viewers with just 88,000 P18-49 in the 12:35 a.m. timeslot. That’s -19% in total viewers and -31% in P18-49 viewers from the week-ago broadcast.
Lastly, The Daily Show was hosted by Jon Stewart on Monday, June 10, and per Nielsen live-plus-same-day data, the episode averaged 770,000 total viewers, and 140,000 P18-49. Relative to Stewart’s previous Monday episode (June 3), the June 10 episode is -2% in total viewers and -5% in P18-49. Sports media personality Monica McNutt joined Stewart on Monday’s Daily Show.
