With election night just around the corner, The Daily Show is roaring and ready to go these final couple of weeks. The “Best F**king News Team” returns to Comedy Central tonight for a round of new episodes, featuring some very special guests.
Kicking thing off, Jon Stewart (who missed last week’s usual Monday gig due to the federal holiday) returns to the Daily Show desk tonight with a conversation with the Democratic nominee for Vice President, Tim Walz. While this isn’t the Minnesota Governor’s first late-night rodeo—he made his late-night debut earlier this month when he stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live!—it’s sure to draw plenty of eyes to the show.
The visit will mark the governor’s first appearance on The Daily Show and comes as early voting is underway in key states. Expect the show to run over its usual half-hour timeslot.
From there, Michael Kosta will host Tuesday through Thursday. Kosta’s guest Tuesday night will be Secretary Jennifer Granholm of the U.S. Department of Energy (and former Governor of Michigan), who last stopped by the show in 2011. Kosta’s guests Wednesday and Thursday will be David Hogg, co-founder of March for Our Lives & Leaders We Deserve, and rapper Fat Joe, who’s promoting his new STARZ series, Fat Joe Talks.
The Daily Show airs weeknights at 11 p.m, ET/PT on Comedy Central, and is available to stream next day on Paramount+.
