John Mulaney and Richard Kind are back with another pressure cooker of a promo for this week’s new episode of Everybody’s Live on Netflix.
The new promo finds the duo in what appears to be an abandoned parking lot. A menacing soundtrack plays in the background as Mulaney shares his predicament with Kind. “The show’s too long,” Mulaney explains. “We timed it out, and even if I did everything three times as fast, we’re still 17 minutes long.”
“Jesus Christ. Who else knows?” asks Kind.
“No one else knows… I don’t understand though, because there’s no show on after us. I don’t understand why we even have a time limit,” Mulaney adds.
“I get a weird feeling here,” Kind ominously responds. “Who’s going to be on the show?”
Mulaney lists this week’s guests: Nick Kroll, Ben Stiller, Quinta Brunson, music from Kim Gordon and Kim Deal, and cruise industry expert Anne Kalosh.
“Were you followed?” Kind asks Mulaney. Before Mulaney can respond, Kind has disappeared.

Last week’s premiere of Everybody’s Live proved it to be less a brand-new show and more a continuation of Mulaney’s Everybody’s in L.A., which streamed each of its six episodes over the course of a week last spring. The comic’s new show streams live on Netflix weekly and is said to have been picked up for two 12-episode seasons.
Episode 2 of Everybody’s Live with John Mulaney streams live on Netflix Wednesday, March 19, at 10 PM ET/7 PM PT.
