Jimmy Kimmel to Host Daily Show Duo on Millionaire

Ronny Chieng and Jordan Klepper may be fierce opponents on The Daily Show’s “Sports War,” but they’re teaming up this summer for another late-night host.

Klepper and Chieng are set to compete together on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? this summer.

Hosted Jimmy Kimmel, the show is premiering its fourth season this July. For the last two seasons, the format has shifted from featuring one celebrity contestant at a time to teams of two. Working together to earn up to $1 million for charity, the celeb duos get four lifelines: the 50/50, Phone A Friend, Ask the Audience, and Ask the Host—which allows Kimmel himself to weigh in with a guess.

Klepper and Chieng have been correspondents for The Daily Show for the better part of a decade, and even hosted the show together in the early days of its rotating-anchor format. They’re also often pitted against each other on the recurring segment “Sports War,” a sports debate show where they’re “legally not allowed to agree with each other.”

Saturday Night Live cast member Chloe Fineman is also set to compete on the show with former SNL writer Jillian Bell, whom Fineman recently collaborated with on the Hulu film Summer of 69.

Another celebrity pair will bring Kimmel face-to-face with his eternal Jimmy Kimmel Live! enemy, Matt Damon. Damon will team up with Jeopardy! host Ken Jennings to answer questions, a new promo reveals.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? premieres Wednesday, July 23 on ABC, and will air new episodes weekly all summer. The show has yet to announce a specific date for Klepper and Chieng’s appearance.
