Jimmy Fallon to Make Broadway Debut

Jimmy Fallon is set to make his Broadway debut in Simon Rich’s SNL stage reunion.

The Tonight Show host will join the cast of All In: Comedy About Love on Broadway this winter. He’ll join fellow former SNL cast members Aidy Bryant and Tim Meadows, as well as Lin-Manuel Miranda—among quite a few other comedy stars.

All In is already set to reunite a bunch of Saturday Night Live alums. Penned by former SNL writer Rich and produced by Lorne Michaels, the show stars a rotating cast that includes John Mulaney, Fred Armisen, and Chloe Fineman in its first five weeks.

Miranda will take over for Mulaney between January 14 and February 16, during which time he’ll be joined by Fallon, Bryant, Meadows, Andrew Rannells, Sam Richardson, and David Cross

Fallon’s time on the show will be limited, running only from January 28 through February 2. He and Miranda go way back. The Hamilton star has guested on The Tonight Show 14 times, making him one of Fallon’s most frequent guests.

Based on short stories Rich wrote for The New Yorker, All In will stage a series of short stories about love, heartbreak, and apparently pirates.

“Sometimes they will play pirates, sometimes they will play dogs, and there’s one where we make them talk in British accents,” the play’s synopsis reads. “But even though the show’s kind of all over the place, it’s meant to tell one simple story: that the most important part of life is who we share it with.”

Ticket sales for All In: Comedy About Love start with a fan presale on September 30.
