What’ll it be: lunch or dinner? Jimmy Kimmel is offering fans the opportunity to share a meal with him and two of his best buddies.
As a bonus, said buddies both happen to be celebrated chefs, and they’ll be cooking for you.
It’s all part of a new promotional partnership between Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Airbnb aimed at promoting the homeshareing app’s redesigned Experiences section, which pairs travelers with locals offering unique experiences at their destination.
Kimmel revealed the new partnership on his show Tuesday night in a branded segment that saw Airbnb’s CEO and co-founder Brian Chesky taking Kimmel’s experience for a test drive as the two joined BBQ Pit Master Adam Perry Lang and James Beard Award-Winning Pizza Chef Chris Bianco for an outdoor cookout.
The same experience will be available for purchase on Airbnb on a first-come, first-served basis starting Thursday May 22nd at 1pm ET/10am PT. In all, Kimmel and his pals will be cooking up four different meals in the Los Angeles area on July 1st and 2nd of this year. Tickets for you and a plus-one will cost $50, but with room for just ten guests at each meal, they’re likely to sell out very quickly.
Guests will also have the opportunity to pick up some new skills with the celebrity chefs, and all attendees will go home with a Grill Master’s gift kit.
Proceeds from the event will go to Children’s Hospital L.A., which is where Kimmel’s young son Billy got life saving surgery after he was born with a heart defect.
