Heated Rivalry Star Connor Storrie to Make Late-Night TV Debut

Heated Rivalry appears to be launching a power play on late-night TV.

Some 24 hours after it was announced that Hudson Williams of the buzzy hockey/romance series would be making his late-night TV debut (on The Tonight Show, this Wednesday), scene partner Connor Storrie has booked a visit to NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers.

Storrie, who plays Heated Rivalry‘s Moscow-born Boston Raiders captain Ilya Rozanov, will break the ice with Meyers Monday, January 12, Variety reports.

Castmate Williams’ Tonight Show visit will mark the first late-night appearance for any star of Heated Rivalry, which debuted in late November on Canada’s Crave and streamed Stateside day-and-date on HBO Max.

The series was renewed in mid-December, midway through its freshman run.

While igniting much online discourse and inspiring countless think pieces on the popularity of the drama about two rival pro hockey players who engage in a secret romance, Heated Rivalry emerged as Crave’s No. 1 original series debut on record, increasing its viewership by nearly 400% since the premiere. Stateside, it stands as HBO Max’s “top-rated non-animated acquired series” since the service launched in 2020, and was in the Top 5 among all scripted debuts on HBO Max in 2025.

That said, Heated Rivalry has yet to crack Nielsen’s U.S. ranking of streaming series after two weeks of eligibility.

Late Night returned from the holiday break on Monday, and tonight continues its season with guests Andrew Ross Sorkin (CNBC), New York Knicks center Karl-Anthony Towns, and filmmaker Shawn Levy.
