The Tonight Show is going full buddy comedy next week, with Doja Cat sliding into the co-host chair beside Jimmy Fallon.
The Grammy Award-winning artist is set to join Fallon on Wednesday, October 1, for a special episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Expect the night to lean into sketch-style comedy bits, playful banter, and some over-the-top musical surprises from the unlikely duo.
The appearance will come before her Studio 8H debut as the musical guest for Saturday Night Live’s Season 51 premiere on October 4, alongside host Bad Bunny.
As it happens, Bad Bunny was Fallon’s last co-host back in January, in an episode that memorably featured the pair undercover busking in a New York City subway station. Other celebs who’ve tag-teamed with Fallon behind his desk over the years include Ed Sheeran, Megan Thee Stallion, Cardi B, Kevin Hart, Demi Lovato, and Shawn Mendes.
This will be Doja Cat’s fourth appearance on The Tonight Show, and it comes at a high-profile moment: she’s promoting her new album Vie, which drops this Friday, September 26. Her most recent visit was in May of 2024.
Next Wednesday’s Tonight Show is also set to feature a musical performance by Blood Orange, who collaborated with Doja Cat on her new album. NBC says other guests will be announced at a later date.
