Bad Bunny to Co-Host Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon

No, NBC isn’t giving Jimmy Fallon the Connie Chung treatment, but the Tonight Show host is getting a co-host for one night.

Musician Bad Bunny is set to take a seat alongside Fallon for a special episode of The Tonight Show next week.

“.@sanbenito takes over The Tonight Show,” the show’s socials announced today. The promo, which features “and Bad Bunny” inserted after the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon logo, doesn’t share much detail other than noting that the artist will serve “as a co-host with talk and performance.”

It won’t be the first time Fallon has welcomed a co-host to the show, but it has been a while. The last time he tag-teamed hosting duties was in 2022, as part of what the show called its “Superstar Super Summer.” Megan Thee Stallion and Demi Lovato both co-hosted alongside Fallon in August of that year.

Bad Bunny’s history with The Tonight Show dates back quite a few years. Fallon’s program is where Bad Bunny made his English-language TV debut in 2018, and he’s appeared on the show seven times since.

Fallon and Bad Bunny should have plenty to talk about this time around. The musician released his sixth solo album, Debí Tirar Más Fotos, on January 5th. He also is set to appear in Adam Sandler’s Happy Gilmore 2, portraying Happy’s caddy.

Fallon teased the latin pop star’s upcoming Tonight Show appearance on his own socials this morning. “Welcome back @sanbenito,” he wrote.
