Andy Cohen Accused of Drug Use, Exploitation in New Lawsuit

Another Real Housewives star is suing Andy Cohen.

Leah McSweeney, a former cast member on The Real Housewives of New York, filed a civil lawsuit Tuesday against the Watch What Happens Live star, Bravo, and NBCUniversal, alleging that they intentionally exploited her struggles with alcoholism and mental health to goose ratings for their shows.

McSweeney goes on to claim in court documents that Cohen “engages in cocaine use with Housewives and other ‘Bravolebrities’ that he employs” and that he “tends to provide the Housewives with whom he uses cocaine with more favorable treatment and edits.”

A representative for Cohen told Page Six, “the claims against Andy are completely false.”

McSweeney’s suit comes just days after RHOBH star Brandi Glanville accused Cohen of sexual harassment in a separate legal letter, citing a a private 2022 video sent by Cohen to Glanville.

In Glanville’s case, Cohen quickly took to X to apologize for his comments in the video, which he said were meant in jest.

“The video shows Kate Chastain and I very clearly joking to Brandi,” he wrote. “It was absolutely meant in jest, and Brandi’s response clearly communicated she was in on the joke. That said, it was totally inappropriate and I apologize.”
