The longtime Daily Show writer-turned-correspondent visits the show’s Ears Edition podcast to talk nerves, prep, and a little Diddy and Epstein for good measure.

The actress, who stars in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night this summer in Central Park, was Stephen Colbert’s first guest since he announced his cancellation last week. Taking his hand, she declared, “To CBS and Paramount—a plague on both your houses!”

David Letterman himself has yet to comment on the cancellation of the show he launched in 1993, but hard not to read into the 20 minute compilation of Late Show clips just posted to his YouTube channel, which is captioned “You can’t spell CBS without ‘BS.”
