Hot off sustaining sick burns as part of Saturday Night Live‘s latest “Weekend Update” joke swap, Colin Jost and his taste buds will brave the “Wings of Death.”
Jost will be the latest SNL star to enter the Hot Ones arena when his appearance on the YouTube series drops this Thursday, May 21.
“It seems like people enjoy watching me suffer,” Jost says in the announcement video below, “so… check it out!”
In Hot Ones, the flagship series of the ever-growing First We Feast brand, for every question that the celebrity guest fields from host Sean Evans, they must join him in partaking a progressively spicy chicken wings.
Back in December, SNL‘s Sarah Sherman and Chloe Fineman battled Mikey Day and James Austin Johnson a game of “Wing Pong” (one of Hot Ones‘ many offshoots), Bowen Yang in November 2024 waged war with the wings whilst revealing how be bungled his interview with Lorne Michaels, and Jost’s “Weekend Update” co-anchor Michael Che was Hot Ones‘ first-ever “Fish Sticks of Death” sampler in July 2021. (“I just don’t want to eat chicken on-camera,” he explained.)
SNL alums such as Kate McKinnon, Will Ferrell, and Jason Sudeikis have also subjected their taste buds to the wings boasting increasingly scary Scoville scale ratings.
Additionally, Jost’s wife, Scarlett Johansson, was a Hot Ones guest in April 2019.
