David Letterman himself has yet to comment on the cancellation of the show he launched in 1993, but hard not to read into the 20 minute compilation of Late Show clips just posted to his YouTube channel, which is captioned “You can’t spell CBS without ‘BS.”

Jason Zinoman argues in the New York Times that Colbert’s talents are better showcased elsewhere.

“We are on the precipice of entering a censorship state,” the Connecticut lawmaker said in a video posted to his social media.
