Annie Clark inaugurated The Late Show’s new “Under the Covers” series with a confident, swagger-filled take on “Young Americans.”

Though he’s covered other presidential speeches live, Colbert told viewers he opted against it Wednesday night for a simple reason: “We would had to have watched it.”
