The New York Times dug through 700 boxes of materials recently donated by the SNL creator to the University of Texas archives, and posted some of their finds.

“Maya had Covid. Marty has Covid. I wonder why,” Steve Martin captioned a photo of the two former SNLers kissing on the lips at Sunday night’s anniversary special.

A far cry from his turn on “Scared Straight,” the SNL star dropped by a Brooklyn grade school for the YouTube series Celebrity Substitute.
